Amd vs Intel 2017 updated 2019-11-16 around time 17:10

Intel has taken new World Record already in 25 July 2017 vs today 2019-09-27 in cinebench r15 and in time again Intel will be way above Amd, but that will happend under 2021 or 2025 in big lead more about that below:
And:
https://www.servethehome.com/cinebench-r15-is-now-a-broken-as-a-benchmark-and-11-5k-surpassed/ (Important you read scroll down longer down on this page as updates new is lower down this page from 2019-11-16, reason we want the things stated before to be on top):

Why Intel however on some sides is struggeling right now:

And Why AMD is rising it is not cos of fair competition of AMD:

Screenshot Youtube comments that said the truth about Amd heard it from other people aswell:

"Intel reportedly said that after Pani's departure, it suspected he stole documents valued between $200 million and $400 million USD. Intel contacted the local authorities after obtaining substantial proof of the theft.
"The downloaded documents included mission-critical documents describing in detail the process Intel uses for designing its newest generation of microprocessors," the FBI affidavit alleged. "They included confidential and proprietary business information that also constitutes trade secrets."
It has also been proven beyond a shadow of doubt Amd has stolen Intel CPU Design:

https://www.tomshardware.com/news/Biswamohan-Pani-Intel-AMD-Prison-FBI,16771.html

"On Wednesday in Boston, Massachusetts, 36-year-old Biswamohan Pani was sentenced to three years in federal prison for allegedly stealing company secrets from Santa Clara, Calif.-based Intel. Pani, who back in April pleaded guilty to five counts of stealing trade secrets and wire fraud for violating Intel's confidentiality agreements, was also sentenced to two years of probation and given a $17,500 fine.
According to prosecutors, Pani, a former design engineer at Intel, downloaded secret documents from the chip giant back in June 2008 while supposedly using his final vacation time. Pani officially resigned from the company's Hudson, Mass. office in May, but had also gained employment with rival chipmaker AMD in March 2008, essentially stealing the documents while on both Intel and AMD payrolls months later.
In co-operation with the FBI, AMD later said that it was unaware of Pani's sensitive payload or his Intel employment. The FBI eventually determined that the company had no part in the actual theft, nor was there any evidence that Pani actually shared the information with AMD or any other company. The stolen documents were supposedly for his own use, the FBI said, so that he could advance his career in AMD or elsewhere by referencing it when needed.
"Pani had remotely accessed and downloaded top secret Intel documents from the [Intel] system between June 8 and June 10, 2008, when he was not working on projects for Intel and was purportedly on vacation," FBI Special Agent Timothy Russell of the Boston FBI cyber crimes squad wrote in an affidavit.
Intel reportedly said that after Pani's departure, it suspected he stole documents valued between $200 million and $400 million USD.

So When will Intel Catch up on all levels vs AMD We believe in 2022 or 2025.

More on this here:

Regarding the issues with Intels chips MSD attacks and other attacks Amd is not more secure but Intel is tested far more vs attacks and checked out far more vs attacks as Intel is way bigger then AMD still.

More Info about this:
(not entierly correct in article that only newer CPUs are safer or fix these kind of attacks, CPUs before 2008 older CPUs actually are safer against attacks like these and is more secure overall.
Most safe CPUs are CPUs like much older but the performance loss might be too much for many. That is the negative part Older CPUs safer way safer, but also much lower performance especially for gaming, not possible with todays gaming titels on really old CPUs. Todays gaming titels do not only require good graphics card but also a modern CPU even that most is on the graphics card.)
And:

Neither Intel or AMD chips will ever be fully protected against all forms of attacks, but overall they are very secure a tip to be more secure when surf online surf on safe websites and if you see unusual CPU usage disconnect internet find the source to why.

Always install coinblock more about it here in your browser:

Coinblock does not protect you against the attacks on Intel and AMD chips but it stop miners that steal much CPU power and usage.

As long you surf online on safe websites the risk of you getting attacked is minimal.

It is impossible to be 100 percent secure online but you are 99 percent secure Online if you surf online on safe websites and have coinblock installed.

If you still get high CPU usage when surfing online with coinblock installed in Internet browser while you surf on safe websites immediately disconnect Internet and contact Police or someone that can check if your computer is under some form of attack to its Cpu on Amd or Intel depending on what Cpu you have. Those attacks are on hardware side, but very unlikely that it will happend to you.

Added here 2019-11-16 important:

For complete fair compare in cinebench r15 multicore it should also be same count of cpu cors and same count of threads between Intel and Amd which it usually is not... Even with far lesser cores Intel lead big in cinebench r15. About r20 we find it suspect as the scores on Amd between cinebench r15 and cinebench r20 with same cpus on Amd side differ so huge between cinebench r15 and cinebench r20 in score is really odd (comparing from this date 2019-11-16 on Amd in r15 cinebench and on Amd in r20 cinebench same Amd cpus with same Amd core count and with same Amd thread count).
We find cinebench R15 is the more realible ways to measure multicore cinebench r15 contrary to others. If measure fair even in cinebench r20 it must be same cpu core count and threads Intel vs Amd and if same core count exactly and same threads then Intel will lead even in cinebench r20 multicore score, this has not yet happend fair same core count and same  threads count between Intel and Amd in r20 multicore compare test. It is hard to make test with same core cpu count and same threads count we know between Intel vs Amds, but it should be done as fair as possible before declair someone a final stated winner.... We here at this Blogg are all about Honesty and Fairness and Fair play in our compares and gaming tests and Workstations or Server tests compares and so on.

The Truth And Facts No BS:
Important facts truth by AMD reviewer he knows about people been offered money from AMD to uplift AMD and put everyone else down he himself might been offered money from AMD to put other companies down and make AMD look wonderful...
The facts and truth here from my friend:
Intel vs Amd compare is valied for 2018 and 2019 and forward aswell below:
Hello Agreed. AMD is good as long as you not compare it to Intel in honest truthful compares.
Amd is good aslong one not truthfully compare it with Intel. In future it might change but very unlikely.
Intel has the best cpu factories in the world.
As I done my own testings and compared aswell as I build desktop computers aswell as laptops, personally I know for a fact Intel beats Amd overall in all things.
But when I bought my AMD I did so because it were very cheap but I always knew it could never compete or beat Intel.
In order to fully understand all in this truthful honest none bias fully compare Intel vs Amd none bias benmark tests and none bias gaming benchmark test and none bias workload tests etc below, you need to read the whole article and all its text and links and see all none bias tests attached in screenshots and read and heed all info below from top to end at this blogg page etc, otherwise you will not see the whole picture or understand the whole honest true picture etc:

We could not have said it better ourselves:

Said by (honest, fair and smart person) PinkasBrown44 about 8 hours ago on Youtube:

"I just love how so many people are writing novels to convince others that AMD is not supposed to have screwed their own fans with their GPUs. See, if things are crystal clear, there´s nothing much to say.

For, example, no one would question that the gtx 1080ti has unmatched performance. Or that Intel has always been the better company, with AMD being an occasional budget-buddy. Inferior, yet cheaper and eventually a half-hearted semi-value offering.
But as soon as the discussion is about AMD it goes on and on and on. No wonder. The elusive obvious camouflaged by stubborn denial. (smirk) If AMD was a cheating whore, their fanboys would be the naive boyfriends being the last ones to know, yet still believing things will be fine. Suit yourselves, the joke´s on you. :D"

Amazingly done Intel personal computer cpu 16 cores 32 threads the I9 7960X Speed rank 3 of 1060 vs AMD Thred R 1950x 16 cores 32 threads speed rank 7 of 1060. Intel I9 7960X personal computer cpu beat Amd Thred R 1950x in all fields:
http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i9-7960X-vs-AMD-Ryzen-TR-1950X/m357952vs3932 (Scroll down far in link to see all info and compare them, very fair compare same cpu core amount and same thread amount and also like same clock speeds etc.

Important to note also that in server side Intel beat Amd so sick many times over with Intel Xeon version 5s cpus etc more about that below but talking about personal computers now and Intel is in the lead in all fields big time and always been overall.
Intel has many many many Intel computers both on personal computers and on server side cpus that beats Amd cpus in all fields cannot list them all. Of course better performance and quality will cost sometimes a bit more but in the end its well worth it, Intel owns more about this below from computer tech.)

We also seen so many people that got fooled by AMDs hype lies and bought Amd newest Ryzens and when they saw the truth about AMDs hype and low quality performance they were very quick to sell their "super" whole AMD newest ryzens to people online.

Why cos Amd newest ryzens is only good in stuff nothing today nor in future uses as multicores but is worthless and slow in what games today and future programs and softwares uses as strong fast 1 core speed and strong fast quad core speed and strong multitasking aswell as Amd also runs hot and uses way more electricity then Intel counter parts unclocked etc.
Intel uses also like always less energy overclocked then Amd overclocked except for a very few exceptions, but in those few exceptions you also get so much more power by Intel overclocked then Amd overclocked so Intel win big time even there.

Aslo Amd newest ryzens is not stable in overclock high more about that below.
Intel today almost do twice as high overclock compared to Amd newest Ryzens and is stable on it compared to Amd newest Ryzens... Etc.
Also Amd motherboards is also very expensive compared to motherboards for Intel.

Intels newest I9s beats all with Amd newest ryzens even in multicores aswell, but as stated before you have 0 use almost for multicores today or in future so its a waste of money buying cpus that are strong in multicores that no game or software or program uses today or in future its like wasting your money and electricity bill as many of these strong cpus in multicores draws much more electricity aswell.

A friendly advice regarding unclocked Intel cpus:

Important for all new Intel I9s cpus we recommend to use real water cooling with pump to keep the temperatures low, if using this real water cooling with pump the temperatures will be low.

If using real cooling the temps will not be high on any newer Intel cpus more about this below but for older Intel cpus air cooling is enough.

Intel always overall had and has lower cpu temps then anything with Amd and Amds newest Ryzens but you need real powerful water coolings with pump for Intels newest I9s monsters etc, otherwise you will get high temps cos you are not using real cpu coolings that is required for the newer Intel I9s cpus etc and that error is not on Intels part but on you.

So please do not complain as some people do when not using real cpu cooling systems that is required for their cpus...

Use sufficient Cpu cooling systems and you never get any high temps nomatter ordinary or more extreme work loads or extreme gaming or medium gaming etc on Intels I9s etc, talking about unclocked Intel I9s cpus here.

Please do not overclock Intels newest I9s cpus as if you do extreme overclocking you need to cool Intels I9s cpus with LN2 witch is a bit more complicated process not recommended for ordinary users or ordinary gamers.

But if you do extreme overclocking on Intels I9s cpus then you need extreme cooling with LN2 in order to keep the newest I9s cpus cold.

LN2 is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquid_nitrogen .

Extreme overclock and cooling cpus with LN2 only for advanced users that know what they are doing as it could be quite dangerous if you get LN2 on you..

Smartest is to use Intels I9s as they are with no overclock and use real water cooling with pump and all is ready to begin play games and work etc and you always will have low temperatures you get plenty of power anyway without doing any form of overclock on Intels I9s cpus.

There is really no need to do any overclock on Intels I9s you get plenty of power anyway for extreme gaming and extreme workloads etc.

More about this below what people think of Amds Ryzens and their Amd Ryzens builds etc:

Amazing Intel beats Amd even in this that is in a sence unfair compares done by Tom H as Intel has lesser cores and lesser threads in these 3 gaming tests below, but still Intel beats Amd and all with Amd newest Ryzens. (Imagine doing fully honest compares Intel vs Amd with same amount of cores and same cpu clock speeds and same amount of threads and same amount of ram then Intel would crush Amd even More beyond understanding. Intel is handicapped in these compares and still beats all with Amd with a way of lot lesser cores and lesser threads so impressive Intel still crush all with Amd and their newest Amd ryzens.)

Amazingly Well done Intel !!!:

(Say this only once here most softwares and games today uses only strong fast singel core speed or strong fast quad core speed there is really very little need for strong cpu multicores as buggy hyped Amd is pushing on today, as Amd knows they cannot compete vs Intel were the true power lies for todays software and applications and games and that is strong fast cpu singel core and strong fast cpu quad core aswell superstrong and fast multitasking
aswell as lowest heat in cpus and aswell as lowest electricity cpu consumption etc.

In other words as an Amd user you have almost zero need for strong cpu multicores in todays applications except for a very few exceptions. In other words Amds offers is a waste of your money as what they offer is not used in todays applications except a very few exceptions. Amd is only pushing on high multicores to manipulate the true honest none bias cpu benchmarks to get higher rankings, but unless Amd get their electricity lower then Intels and get their cpu singel cores to be stronger and faster then Intels and get their cpu quad cores to be stronger faster then Intels and get their cpus temperatures lower then Intels and also get their Amd prices down compared to todays cheaper better quality counter parts of honest quality Intel, unless that happends Amd they are just a hyped buggy overpriced junk compared to honest quality Intel.

Important to adress:
Even Intel cpus with lower amount of cpu cores and threads uses less electricity and have lesser cpu temperatures still has faster and stronger singel cpu cores and have faster and stronger cpu quad cores then amd and in many cases is also even cheaper then amds counter parts, Intel beats all with amd and their newest ryzens with horse leanghts.

However if you still need high multicores the better cheaper overall much better cpu value is Intel 7900x but if you still need higher multicore then Intels 18 core cpu might be something for you or if you is extremely rich Intels Titan computer with huge 192 cores and huge 192 threads with huge 60 mb cache memory and huge 2048 GB ram more about this below) :

However, motherboards for Intel cpuer today are cheaper and better than just new ones for ryzen more about it below etc:
Before Amd takes Intel were the true power lies, with faster and stronger single core speed and faster and stronger quad speed and lesser power consumption with lesser cpu temperatures plus with better quality and stability before that happens, buggy hyped overpriced junk Amd is nothing compared to honest Intel.
AMD in a way is cheating they make their processors powerful in the multicores amd only does this to get high up in the rankings in cpu none bias cpu benchmarks however they skip all the important stuff power consumption and fast single cores and fast quad cores cpuer they skip all that is essential for 99.9 percent of today's users in games and software as well as pure power so no Amd are not faster than Intel that crushes AMD in single core speed strong and quad core speed strong with lower CPU power consumption and lower CPU temperatures Intel has against AMD etc.
Forgotten to say this before when I say Intel is stronger in single core and quad core it then means faster.
Even Intel with fewer threads and cores is faster in single core cpu and quad core cpu speeds and draws less power ans has lower cpu temperatures than amd so Intel wins with horse lengths all over with AMD.

Intel crushes everything with AMD, even handicapped reading:
(Imagine doing fully honest compares Intel vs Amd with same amount of cores and same cpu clock speeds and same amount of threads and same amount of ram then Intel would crush Amd even More beyond understanding. Intel is handicapped in these compares and still beats all with Amd with a way of lot lesser cores and lesser threads so impressive Intel still crush all with Amd and their newest Amd ryzens.) More about this below in the none bias honest gaming benchmark compares and none bias honest workloads compares etc:

Intel's newest 18 core is better in multicore than amd as well as Intel's titanium computer with 192 threadar and 192 threads as well as 60mb cache memory and 2048gb in ram they take everything with amd.

The Truth About Multicores:
Today's games and software do not use multicores !!!!!!!!!! They use strong fast single cpu cores and fast strong cpu quad cores in today's software and games etc Amd ohhh when will people wake up Amd sells things today that exist no use for...
God helped me find the truth in this.
Extremely in exceptional cases, in extremely few, multicores are used, but in these rare cases the better and cheaper and overall better choice is the Intel 7900x option more about this below:
Intel also dominates in multitasking compared to Amd. Intels newest I9s also dominates in everything aswell as multicores compared to Amd and Amd newest Ryzens Cpus etc.
Amd sucks om multitasking compared to Intel read more about this on this Blogg.

Tech News from around 2018-11-13 :

"Verdict

At the end of the day, the Core i9-9980XE is the undisputed champion of the HEDT processor world that puts Intel on top again."

For more info read on here:
https://www.techradar.com/reviews/intel-core-i9-9980xe (Better things usually cost more so for those that have afford.)

Article from 2018-10-26:
https://wccftech.com/intel-core-i9-9980xe-18-core-cpu-3dmark-benchmark-leak/ (Many PCI Lanes read on in article very nice.)

For those that absolutely must have many cores and high multicore performance Intel will come out to give you that in 2020 or 2021. However Intel is very good at multicore performance today also and huge overclocking abilities on Intels cpus etc aswell enogh many cores. Todays games and programs and softwares and future does not use more then 4 to 8 cpu cores all above that is not good for todays use and near future as many cores give more heat and draws more electricity witch you see on amd plattform.

Amd sells many cores that customers cannot use the power of as no games or software or program use it today or in near future... Amd has slower cpu cores in 1 speed core and quad speed core and draws more electricity and gets hotter and have no build in overheating protection so amds cpu will be broken if run overheating.
Intels processors have built in overheating protection so even if run hot that almost never happends with Intel but if it happends just fix better cooler and go and the Intel processor work anyway as it cannot easily burn out cos of the overheating protection built in witch amd lacks.

Amd also lacks hyper threading witch Intel has. Intels cpu cores like 4 cores with hyper threading is almost like 8 cpu cores very smart tech from Intel.

Hyper threading is very good more about that on this blogg page.
Amd do not fix the problem faster cpu 1 core speed and faster cpu quad core speed and better multi tasking instead they give us many slow cores to give us multicores performance witch their is no use for today or near future...

Multicore performance is not the same as multitasking...

Intels cpus is great for multitasking fast 1 core speed fast quad core speed fast extremely good for games programs and all that exist today and near future and draw little energy and is cooler then amd.

Amd sell hype what their offer is is no use for it only draws more electricity and gets hotter.
For the gamer like the very best cpu and fair price pretty cheap is Intel 8700k very good cpu and for daily use more then enough for most users around World see detailed review here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Urk2U14iMPs . Intel 8700k is very good cpu for performance vs price in especially computer games and is well enough for most users worldwide in forms of power.

Computer Games can use many Gpu real seperate graphics cards Gpu cores on the Gpu side but that is a completely another thing.
Gpu cores is not the same as Cpu cores games softwares programs of today or near future does not use many cpu cores only between 2 to max 4 or 8 cpu cores.

And if you still want better multicores, Intel 18 core is recommended or if you're extremely rich Intels of Intel's coolest titanium computer with 192 kernels and 192 threads and 60mb cache memory and 2048gb in frame but only extreme richahs can afford Intel's 192 kernels of heat as has thred tec of which 192 cores etc.

I am extremely grateful that God Trinity Yahweh showed me this would give amd the full honor if they quit all their hype as well as today's amd users stoped hyped amd up trying to show them to be better than they really are and if AMD used less power than Intel and if AMD was faster in CPU single core and faster in cpu quad core then Intel and had lower CPU temperatures then Intel, but this is not the case. And if AMD stopped attack Intel, that makes way better overall cpuer in quality and single core speed and quad core speed with less electricity consumption with lower CPU temperatures better for gaming and 99.9 percent of today's software, etc.
Would be much more honest of amd to acknowledge themselves like number 2 after Intel instead of accusing Intel of stealing Amds cpu designs blah blah blah ...

Intel cpuer works very differently than AMDs that get most of their power from amd CPU clock speeds, however Intel gets its way better speed from cache memory and other things below explained etc.
Intel is completely different designed than AMD, Intel draws less electricity and is much colder so easy to see through amds desperate hype.
This accusation from amd against Intel may get amd banned from existing in the worst case, as well as faked tests against Intel when amd cheated against Intel and removed intels memories.... More about this below. Intel needed 4 RAM modules to run powerful quad tasks against AMD and AMD cheated more about this below. Amd must also be more honest about their Graphics cards etc more about it below etc.

Honestly, We think its totally impossible to beat Intel in all they offer as well as have as low CPU temperatures and low power consumption as Intel has on their cpus with such extremely huge powerful performance on quad core and quad core speed and same extremely huge powerful performance on single core aswell as fast single core speed Intel has etc.
We Do not think any company in the world can beat Intel they are too good all around they do their products with such enormous quality etc and speed best cpus all around is Intel recommended is Intel 7900x for all around cpu and only for gaming is recommended Intel 7700k both are very cheap and way much better then all with amd and amd newest ryzens read on below etc and above etc, wake up if u been asleep do not let amds hype fool you or their many amd hyped deluded fanboys who lives in fantasy land (not all amd fans are deluded and hype amd up but many do), time to wake up to the truth and then live in the truth and by the none bias facts period wake up. Intel is the better honest company with better overall products in performance for all needs in games and all softwares and quality to todays needs and market in computer world period always been and always most likely will be, Intel is number 1 choice to go period (you are free to choose but we just state all the facts read on all below). Amd also sells peoples privacy lives out in worst case read on all below:

With the I7-7700K you also get integrated HD graphics in the very cheap price of 3199 kr Swedish Kronor https://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?e=4020337, included and thats not included in AMDs ryzens of the newest ones we compared to. Intels HD graphics is not good compared to real graphics cards, but still some games work on it and you do not have to pay any extra to get this Integrated Intel HD graphics HD Graphics 630 with the Intel I7-7700K CPU etc.Intel I7-7700K CPU also is using less energy then AMD 7 Ryzen 1800x much cheaper to use in other words so you earn much money on electricity bill aswell.

Prices wrong in Screenshot compared to Swedish prices etc taken today 2017-08-25 around time 15:30, Intel crush AMDs new Ryzen 7 1800x and is around 2000 kr cheaper:

Say this only once here most softwares and games today uses only strong fast singel core speed or strong fast quad core speed there is really very little need for strong cpu multicores as buggy hyped Amd is pushing on today, as Amd knows they cannot compete vs Intel were the true power lies for todays software and applications and games and that is strong fast cpu singel core and strong fast cpu quad core aswell superstrong and fast multitasking
aswell as lowest heat in cpus and aswell as lowest electricity cpu consumption etc.

Think GhostXL means i7 7740X and not i7 7840X so corrected that.

And same answer from GhostXL applies even here Intel also uses less power electricity consumption vs newest AMD TR Ryzen 1950x:

Intel 8700k is very price valued vs performance and is considered the best gaming cpu and cpu for work and softwares toward its price that exist today 2018.
As there is litterly no use for multicores today or in future you can do all tasks like 1 core strong fast cpu and quad core strong fast cpu and strong super multitasking work for programs and softwares and games all faster way faster on Intels cpu then anything on amd, as there aint no use for the only thing amd hype and sells multicores that no games or softwares uses today or in future etc.

Just remember to use a good quality water cooling solution real water cooling with pump for Intel 8700k and it never gets hot. (Intels newest I9s beats all with Amd newest ryzens even  in multicores aswell, but as stated before youhave 0 use almost for multicores today or in future so its a waste of money buying cpus that are strong in multicores that no game or software or program uses today or in future its like wasting your money and electricity bill as many of these strong cpus in multicores draws much more electricity aswell.

The answer why the mostly Intel cpus uses turbo boost and not have high base clock speeds from the start is simple its to only boost up to higher clock speeds when needed to, to save energy aswell to minimize heat as its unnecessary to be in high clock speeds all the time why cos it draws to much power aswell generate more heat:

"I just looked at gaming benchmark and stopped reading there because as i thought Intel CPUs are killing Thread Ripper in gaming. As far as content creation, naturally having 16/32 setup will be faster than Intel 10/20 but again do you really need more than 10/20 cores. I don't and i heavily use PC for gaming, programming, web design, video/audio encoding. Overall Intel 7900x is better value and all around CPU. But if you are just in gaming 7700k is just enough.

Thanks for review, and hello x299 platform.

Gaming vs. Content Creation mode through Software is just another big NO NO to me knowing how crappy AMD software is.
I love Intel even more...all you have to do pop CPU in and shit works and it works well."

The facts time to kill the heat problem myths:

7/25/2017 8:17:02 AM:

"This review is from:

Intel Core i9-7900X 10-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 2066 140W BX80673I97900X Desktop Processor
Pros:

What's to say I got an i7 7820x and it failed after two days. Newegg didn't have any more in stock and have not had any more in stock so I said to hell with it and got this. Well it's fast as hell to say the least. Also overclock it and complain about heat? Why bother it's already boosting to 4.3 ghz in all cores and 4.5 in two cores when needed. Sure you need a liquid cooler for it but if your spending this kind of money on a CPU you can spare 100 bucks more for a good aio cooler. I went with the corsair h100i v2 and under full load I get no higher than 71c on some cores but most stay below 65c. You cannot use air cooling with this CPU and a single fan liquid cooling aio will not tame this beast either. I was using a single fan aio liquid cooler and had to turn off enhanced turbo boost until I got the. We cooler.

Cons: Expensive.
Runs a little hot but not as bad as everybody states.

Other Thoughts:

Bottom line it's a great CPU and overclocking may get you a little more performance but is generally a waste of time with this CPU, but can be done. I personally do not bother overclocking these days as it makes almost no difference in real world use. Squeeze a few seconds less on something or a few more fps while gaming is really not worth it. You overclock cheaper cpus not pimp cpus like this."

"LOVE THIS PROCESSOR

This review is for:

Intel Core i9-7900X 10-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 2066 140W BX80673I97900X Desktop Processor
Pros: Can I just get a hallelujah? Seriously I love my 7900x!!! It hit 4.7 no problem and I think it could go higher(actually I know it could) BUT I don't want a VRM disaster so I'll wait for the monoblock to come out from EK before I go start all that.

Temps were a little high when overclocked but a quick delid solved all that for me. I know that is negative for most people but honestly I love doing things like that. Making adjustments and tweaking things around to get the best possible performance. I'm not saying the process was easy, cause it was terrifying!

A new platform always means some growing pains but all in all I'm glad I upgraded!

If you want high clock speeds with high cores than X299(most of it) is for you!

Cons: I can't marry it...

Not sure why there 6950X was soldered and not these? Not a big deal for me but it still is a con technically.

Other Thoughts: Last year if you would have said to me "hey Intel is going to make a 10 core 20 thread CPU that overclocks to 4.7 like it's nothing!" I would have laughed at you. Here we are though and it's a great time to be a PC enthusiast! So much hardware being announced and all the competition in the market, I love it! Threadripper and X399 is pretty awesome(don't kill me fanboys) and I bet the 7980XE is gonna be out of this world powerful!!! I'm so stoked to see the reviews on it. All in all I don't really need a high core CPU I guess? Then again no one really "needs" a Ferrari either. I'm just a big enthusiast when it comes to computers and this pleases the nerd in me!"

Colossal (***One Month Later)

This review is for:

Intel Core i9-7900X 10-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 2066 140W BX80673I97900X Desktop Processor

Pros: *I've been busy tweakin' (Nvidia Control Panel, devices drivers) and Everything affected by Direct X performance got better - with very few exceptions that go to Quad-core developments (Gaming) and older AVX simulation)); OpenGL performance in rendering environments is just a beautiful experience now. And, I don't see temps above 65C (Corsair liquid cooled). This is not a Tech review - but, I guess I should share my rig / setup:

>Intel i9 7900x (with the Lid on) - ***thermal regulation is much better since M/B BIOS updates (ASUS 0702)
>Crucial Ballistix Elite (32 Gb) - DDR4 overclocked to 3000 Mhz (XMP profile was automatic); stable and durable memory that I run on all systems; Crucial has worked when others have failed to POST (every time)
>EVGA GTX 1070 - Black Edition (I prefer the Teraflop speed and price). I wont rule out a Quadro (future); right now M/B drivers need more development
>ASUS Mark 2 Sabertooth ***the BIOS 0702 has made a significant difference in overall performance****

>Corsair 110i Liquid Cooling - runs quieter than when I had it hooked up to the Kaby 7700k. I can not emphasize case air-flow enough (I upgraded to Corsair ML140s and front panel fan switches - big difference)

>Samsung 960 EVO x's 2 - this is a no-brains-required choice (the speed of these drives gets better everyday)

The i9's ability to regulate power at the core is a major performance gain for me (CAD modeling-to-Rendering)

Cons: ***No Regrets (need better support from the hardware Vendors); the AVX 512 boost is a 'total flipping mystery' - since vectorization is in everything I do - INTEL will have to provide more than the regular White-Paper fluff.

Other Thoughts: ***The technology is Baby-Brand-New - so, keep the expectations in check; I have the ASUS Mark 2 motherboard (an excellent choice for stable platform, LAN, power, and RAID configurations) - I also have a bookmark on the site for BIOS updates (0702 is current). PEACE"

Older Intel cpu vs older Amd cpu Intel wins in like almost all fields many times over except good quality and performance cost more:
Study info below in link and speed rank etc:

Below the truth about Amd thr 1950x have higher heat then Intel:

This applies for most Intels newer computers means in a sence it doubles intels cores

So if Intel has hyper tec on type all intels computers, it's sick 22 cores will be double 44 cores and 96 cores will be doubled 192 cores etc.

Watch here on Youtube:

"The most significant difference with the Core i7 compared to its predecessor is that Intel has reintroduced a technology called hyperthreading. This means that a processor core can take care of two tasks at the same time. Although the processor actually only has four kernels, it seems as if It has eight, which allows it to split the work more intelligently between the cores, thus increasing the speed.
The choice a money issue
So which processor should you bet? If you have unlimited resources, the answer is of course, best is always the best. For us, others it's a matter of priorities. "

Seams like Intel is doing Intel cpus mostly and stopped doing Intel motherboards:

Intel also do Intels hd graphics:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_HD_and_Iris_Graphics, that cannot compete with real graphics cards but still its included for a cheap price tag without extra charges in some cases so its ok anyways, more about this above:

In Many cases is AMDs cpus and Amds Motherboards is not cheaper then Intels witch also is way better:

"

Answered Aug 2 (2017):

Do not get a Ryzen processor for gaming.

  • It's motherboards are very costly.
  • It's gaming performance compared to Intel is lesser.

If you want to play play many free roam games you need more cores.Even though Ryzen provides many cores and threads it's performance is good only in softwares and not in games. This is because of its architecture. So if you buy a Ryzen cpu there might be chances of bottleneck.

If you still are keen on buying Ryzen then buy the Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 5.

Cheers."
Aaradhan Bagri's answer to Which is the best AMD Ryzen processor for gaming? - Quora

Intel is overall sick much better and way much cheaper then AMDS newest Ryzens Exempel:

"Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 4.2 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80677I77700K Desktop Processor price 319,99 usd very good quality for the very cheap price":

"AMD RYZEN Threadripper 1950X 16-Core / 32 Threads 3.4 GHz Socket sTR4 YD195XA8AEWOF Desktop Processor price 1029,99 usd":

Intel Core i7-7700K crush AMD RYZEN Threadripper 1950X  in gaming and all other Amd ryzens plus Intels CPUs are actually much cheaper and way much better.

INTEL CPUS OPTIONS IS BETTER AND CHEAPER THEN THE NEWEST AMD RYZENS. MORE ABOUT THIS BELOW BY NORDICHARDWARE ETC.

Because this werent followed on Tom H test in all their test we therefore do not list them as they are not honest compares:

By the way when compare think its more honest to compare amd cpus vs Intel cpus that has same core amount and same threads amount aswell as same cpu clock speeds, can be tricky but still. More about this below:

Fair test is to compare Intel vs Amd that has same cpu clock speeds and same amount of cores and same amout of threads and same amount of ram etc.

Its AMD I am a bit rightfully upset as Amd breaks the law, as Amd cheat with the hyped things and so on aswell faked benchmarks they Amd did against Intel by crippling Intel not run Intel in full power of quad core.
What AMD did regarding their newer Ryzens is illegal under 2017 towards Intel:

"While the latest performance demonstration is promising, one snag could make Intel fans cry foul: AMD configured the two quad-core Intel CPUs in dual-channel mode. Intel’s Core i7-6900K and Core i7-6800K both feature quad-channel memory support, which would require four memory modules. AMD’s configurations, however, featured both Intel CPUs configured in dual-channel mode with two pieces of RAM.

Still, it would probably make Intel fans feel better if the Broadwell-E CPUs had been configured to present their best performance." PCWorld - News, tips and reviews from the experts on PCs, Windows, and more (http://pcworld.com)

Fact period:
This certainly matters in CPU intensive tasks I did same on test my Intel I7 took out one memory and tried to run starcraft 2 it took like 2 minutes to start the game that usually take 10 seconds with all memory modules in, so AMD cheated big time it certainly matters big time.

By the way when compare think its more honest to compare amd cpus vs Intel cpus that has same core amount and threads amount aswell as same cpu clock speeds, can be tricky but still. Fair test is to compare Intel vs Amd that has same cpu clock speeds and same amount of cores and same amout of threads and same amount of ram etc.

Intel is a huge company with unlimited resources its very unlikely that AMD ever can beat Intel in all things they offer.
R5 1600
AMD Ryzen 5 1600
12,353 cpu none bias benchmark
And
R7 1700
AMD Ryzen 7
13,820 cpu none bias benchmark

Both those two Amd Ryzen 5 1600 and Amd Ryzen 7 has extremely low benchmark in cpus of Amd Intel beats Amd so easily of those you meantioned in benchmarks 25,236 on none bias cpu true Intel benchmarks on and very soon Intels benchmarks in cpus will be even higher with their new product line.
These are facts true benchmarks none bias :
PassMark Intel vs AMD CPU Benchmarks (https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html)
Intel I5s can do the same  job and better as shown in truthful none bias articles then r5 1600 and r7 1700.
Must strongely disagree as the facts are clearly against you, both AMD R5 1600 and AMD R7 1700 is nothing compared to Intel they were beaten by an 5 year old Intel I5.
I am not talking about the average user I am talking about the truth and facts Intel beats all with buggy AMD period. Intel is best in all things period they have no downsides as they develop quality good best cpus in the World products therefore they have every right to charge more period.
Amd does not a good job of anything as they overheats and have a lot of buggy problems I had AMD computers around 10 years diffrent ones.
https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-IdeaPad-500-15ACZ-Notebook-Review.160723.0.html (list the crappy amd laptop I bought from webhallen in past under 2016, list this link as it list its price and what others also thought about it.)
I can tell you a story bought an amd laptop in 2016 new https://www.webhallen.com/se-sv/datorer_och_tillbehor/243499-lenovo_500-15acz_156_full_hd_a8-8600p-r5-m330-6gb-128gb_ssd-win_10 and it were so buggy so the starcraft 2 video lagged and I have hight internet connection, and had 0 things running in back ground.
And the game on that 2016 amd laptop withot anything in background running well starcfat 2 were totally unplayable it lagged so much.
On the AMd laptop from 2016 it lagged even with lowest players on starcraft 2 even on lowest stettings not floated totally...
Cannot even be compared with my Intel I7. I returned that worthless crappy NEW Lenevo Amd laptop from 2016 to the store Webhallen and got all of my money back immediately, AMD IS WORTHLESS PIECE OF CHEAP JUNK ESPECIALLY OF TODAY OF THE NEWER AMD COMPUTERS, IN OLD TIMES AMD WERE MORE HONEST AND NOT SO OVER HYPED AS NOW, BUT AMD ALWAYS BEEN BUGGY OVERHEATED CHEAP BUGGY JUNK WITH NO QUALITY OR LONG LIFESPAN ON AMDS PRODUCTS COMPARED TO INTEL QUALITY PRODUCTS THAT TARGETS THE TRUE AREA WERE CUSTOMERS WANTS COMPUTERS AND THAT IS MOSTLY FOR GAMING..

AMD SOFTWARES AND DRIVERS ALSO USUALLY VERY BUGGY COMPARED TO STABLE INTEL QUALITY SOFTWARE AND DRIVERS OVERALL ETC.
ALSO KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE AMD HAS VERY BUGGY GRAPHICS CARD DRIVERS AS I HAVE AN AMD GRAPHICS CARD IN MY LAPTOP INTEL I7, THOSE DRIVERS IS VERY BUGGY AND HAS BAD FUNCTIONALITY, BUT FIXED IT WITH SOME OTHER DRIVERS THAT IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING WITH BUT STILL FIXED THE PROBLEM ON MY OWN, BUT AS SAID AMD IS EXTREMELY BUGGY BOTH SOFTWARE AND DRIVERS AND HARDWARE. HOWEVER MY AMD GRAPHICS CARD FUNCTION OK BUT I AM TALKING ABOUT BUGGY AMD CPUS IN LAPTOPS AND BUGGY AMD CPUS IN DESKTOPS ETC.

ALSO A FRIEND OF MINE HAS A LENEVO LAPTOP AMD I THINK IT IS FROM LIKE  END OF 2015 OR END OF 2016 WITH THE LATEST THINGS BEST THINGS FROM THOSE YEARS LIKE 8 CORE AMD WITH 16 GB IN RAM AND GOOD 4 GB DDR5 GRAPHICS CARD AND FAST HARD DRIVES ETC THAT HAD A PRICE OF LIKE AROUND 10 000 SWEDISH KRONOR STARCRAFT 2 JUST THE GAME WITH LIKE 2 VS 2 OR 3 VS 3 LAGGED AND NO PROGRAMS IN BACKGROUND, MY I7 INTEL WERE TOTALLY UNEFFECTED NO LAG AND I BUILT MY INTEL I7 LAPTOP MYSELF FOR ONLY HALF THE PRICE THAT MY FRIEND BOUGHT HIS AMD LAPTOP, I ONLY INVESTED AROUND 5000 KR IN MY INTEL LAPTOP, AND HIS AMD LENEVO LAPTOP IS NEWER THEN MINE BUT STILL MY I7 INTEL LAPTOP BEATS HIS IN STARCRAFT 2 AND MULTI TASKING, I CAN DO ALMOST 1000 THINGS AT SAME TIME WITH MY INTEL OR AT LEAST 250 THINGS TO 500 THINGS AT SAME TIME AND MY INTEL I7 LAPTOP IS UNEFFECTED AND ONLY HAS A CPU DEGREES OF AROUND 43 DEGRESS SO ITS NOT EVEN WARM AND UNDER HEAVY WORK OF A GAME WITH 250 THINGS RUNNING AT SAME TIMES IN FORMS OF PROGRAMS BROWSER WINDOWS AND GAMES ONLY LIKE 60 TO 68 DEGREES CPU GETS AROUND ETC I CAN EVEN CHANGE FROM STARCRAFT 2 IN 1 SEC AND STREAM MOVIES IN INTERNET BROWSER SAME TIME AND SWITCH BACK TO STARCRAFT 2 GAME IN  A SECOND AND MY INTEL I 7 LAPTOP IS TOTALLY UNEFFECTED.
NOW ALSO TESTED A FEW DAYS AGO FULL WORKLOADS ON MY INTEL I7 LAPTOP CPU 100 PERCENT ON ALL CORES MY CPU TEMPERATURE ONLY GOT 65 DEGREES WARM TESTED FOR LIKE 30 SECOND TO A MINUTE ETC AROUND, SO MY INTEL I7 LAPTOP DO NOT EVEN GET NEAR TO WARM OR HOT.

HONEST EXTREMELY GOOD QUALITY INTEL OWNS BUGGY HYPED AMD.

"Why this matters: AMD’s claims that it had elevated Ryzen’s instructions per clock more than 50 percent over the previous generation didn’t match up with its, well, surprising lack of performance when tested in real-world gaming. And when Ryzen was beaten by a 5-year-old (overclocked) processor?! Wow. But it’s true that Ryzen is a brand-new architecture, in a PC market dominated by Intel, and that developers are still catching up. Let’s just hope that AMD and developers can patch up Ryzen’s performance to a level users had hoped for.

The True Facts about the hyped Amd Ryzen 7 1800x

by honest review facts by Sveriges största testare av datorprodukter - NordicHardware (http://nordichardware.se/) :

"Summary and Review
With the Zen architecture, AMD takes a significant step in the right direction and delivers a fresh blow to a CPU market that has stood out for a long time without any major competition in the enthusiast segment. Unfortunately, however, this first step is not necessarily what consumers are looking for right now.

overclocking Disappointment

Unfortunately, we find that the overclocking procedure for at least our test copy was disappointing. In spite of high voltage, we never reach stability with all kernels active at 4.1 GHz, but we should settle closer to 4.0. In other words, with manual overclocking we can best achieve the same range as the processor's automatic frequency increase with XFR. However, XFR is only so high at fewer loaded kernels, but it is still a disappointing small overclocking margin with air cooling.
In our case, it seems to be a particularly limited copy, but in itself it does not continue well. If, as a recurring media, we get such substandard overclocking copies, it also suggests that purchased processors risk becoming a lottery of rank.

Childhood disease and optimization

Unfortunately, our test results in our own test system do not match AMD's performance promises, even if the numbers are not far from. Intel Core i7-6900K is faster than Ryzen 7 1800X in almost all of our performance tests, despite a long AMD troubleshooting session.
At the same time, Ryzen exhibits high temperatures at rest when the CPU is used in high performance mode in Windows 10. In our case, it does not occur as unusually high temperatures under load but may affect overall power consumption as the processor does not go as far down into sleep mode as Intel's equivalent in the same situation. This is something AMD means working with Microsoft to resolve shortly, but for those who consider an early purchase, it is worth remembering. The problem, however, does not affect performance itself.

A platform with compromises

AMD's new motherboard platform based on the AM4 sock is one of the most interesting news with the Ryzen launch, as the platform reunites AMD's different price ranges. Cross-compatibility, however, is not without limitations, for example, not all motherboards support integrated graphics when the Ryzen-based APU models are launched well in the fall.
With that said, we think it's an interesting step for AMD's part, and we like the idea that, as a consumer, you can easily switch both motherboards and CPUs, without having to completely replace the platform.
Looking at Intel's competition, AMD's platform is closer to Intel's consumer processors than the X99 platform that the Red Team actually markets the Ryzen 7 Series as a competitor to.
ELEPHANTS IN RUMMET HAS DOCK CORE I7-7700K.
Ryzen 7 1800X has a fraction of the PCIe lanes that the Intel Core i7-6900K has. While we can note that writing does not make a big difference in dual performance graphics performance, it means a less flexible platform overall. More PCIe paths are used not only for dual graphics cards, but also for other accessories such as SSDs, network cards or sound cards.
Even the memory channels sometimes make a noticeable impression. With two DDR4 channels, Ryzen 7 draws significantly behind Intel Broadwell-E in pure memory bandwidth. In the vast majority of loads, it does not make a major practical difference, but in memory-intensive tests like AIDA, the difference is clear.

Rating: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X

There are two sides of the coin when we talk about Ryzen 7 1800X, and the review ultimately comes down to two aspects: the purely technical and the purely consumer guidance.
In our tests, the Ryzen 7 1800X does not really reach the same or better performance than the competitor Core i7-6900K. While we have been in contact with AMD and investigated why this is the case, it has not been possible to call a specific reason, and it is worth remembering for you as a consumer. When you buy a processor, it is not only the best scenario that is interesting. The performance will vary from processor to processor and from system to system.
With that said, Ryzen 7 1800X is still one of the fastest processors on the market today. Therefore, in our test system, a hair loss behind the Core i7-6900K becomes less relevant when the price tag is taken into account. If we compare with Intel's enthusiast platform, AMD runs circles around the blue team in performance per crown. This makes the Ryzen 7 1800X really well-suited for tasks like 3D rendering or video processing, where all the kernels are useful.
Ryzen is not best for game computers - but a gem for workstations
However, in the game titles we have tested, the Ryzen 7 1800X does not really match the pace of games in lower resolutions (which is the scenario that most affects the processor). We will continuously add more tests in the suite to get a broader picture of how Ryzen 7 performs in play
In the game titles we have tested, however, the Ryzen 7 1800X does not really match the pace of games in lower resolutions (which is the scenario that most affects the processor). We will continuously add more tests in the suite to get a broader picture of how Ryzen 7 performs in games, but in all of the tests we tested in this article, the Core i7-6900K is a bit faster. It does not mean that Ryzen 7 is definitely slower than Intel's equivalent in game, but it suggests that there is at least a huge variation that can affect even the titles that you play.

The elephant in the room is called Core i7-7700K. For 2,000 Swedish kr less than Ryzen 7 1800X, you get better gaming performance in virtually any mode, with PCIe channels and memory bandwidth in the same league. Ryzen 7 1800X is faster in some chores like 3D rendering and video processing, but equivalent to 2,000 Swedish kr faster? Doubtfully generally and simply not a valuable investment for players who want to maximize their frame rate in all modes. Ryzen 7 1800X is not a bad game processor, buying it specifically for games is currently money in the lake.

AMD is, after all, something good on the track with the Zen architecture and the Ryzen series. It might well force Intel to review its pricing in the enthusiast segment, and it's just a big step forward. Hopefully, the brothers 1700X and 1700 can meet a better sweet spot than big brother, but even with its apparent shortcomings, 1800X is about enough in the pot to crash Intel's rather priced six-core i7-6850K from its award as the best processor for workstations between 5,000 and SEK 7,000.

Market analysis - AMD is moving in the pot

AMD switches into the top price segments with its new Ryzen processors, but should not shout hello before they are over the river. While Ryzen 7 means that it is possible to get more multi-wire performance per crown than ever before, the platform still has major challenges that need to be addressed in collaboration with software developers to get the platform firmly. Intel still stands as current champion among game processors - usually a four-core Core i7 still performs significantly better than an eight-piece Ryzen 7 in the game.

Now we look forward to testing even the cheaper models in the same series, and later in the year also the Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 series. The CPU war 2017 has just begun.

Intel Core i7-7700K Overclocked to 7 GHz Across All Cores on LN2

This certainly matters in CPU intensive tasks I did same on test my Intel I7 took out one memory and tried to run starcraft 2 it took like 2 minute to start the game that usually take 10 seconds with all memory modules in, so AMD cheated big time it certainly matters big time.

Generally this applies:
By the way when compare think its more honest to compare amd cpus vs Intel cpus that has same core amount and threads amount aswell as same cpu clock speeds, can be tricky but still.

Fair test is to compare Intel vs Amd that has same cpu clock speeds and same amount of cores and same amout of threads and same amount of ram etc.

"Intel 7900x wins and is way stronger and faster quad core and way stronger and faster singel core better even for gaming aswell and better as desktop computer and uses 22 percent less energy and is cheaper compared to Amd tr 1950x"

Pros: Have none to verify, cannot get mine to boot into Windows

Cons: Out allot of money for overnight shipping, the processor and time.
I can get to bios, set everything up as normal, but it just get's stuck in the Aurus screen, no little circles for Windows install. 3 different ssd drives, 2 different m.2 drives, same exact thing.
I then downloaded a new iso of Windows 10 as someone mentioned. Same exact thing, stuck on the Aurus screen.

Reseated CPU: done that
Swapped PSU: done that
Swapped Drives: done that
New ISO for Windows: done that

I cannot think of anything else and am sure I have done more than I listed

Both motherboard and Processor will have to go back because obviously I have no way to test either with compatible hardware.

Total bummer!!

Great CPU for rendering and multi threaded tasks

This review is from:

AMD RYZEN Threadripper 1950X 16-Core / 32 Threads 3.4 GHz Socket sTR4 YD195XA8AEWOF Desktop Processor
Pros: - 16 Cores, 32 threads... a beast
- 3ds max rendering is a breeze.
- I can run multiple vmware machines with no issues
- works great for 2K gamin with a GTX 1080 card.
- very stable

Cons: - I cannot get memory to post above 2400. I have tried with 3 separate memories (G.Skill, PAtriot and Corsair), and in all cases it would not post above 2400. After the 3rd memory set (and countless hours of tweaking), I gave up. Running 4 DIMMS for a total of 64GB (this is part of the problem - too many DIMMS or DS memory). This is the primary reason for which I dopped a star from the rating.
- Runs a little hot (60C on idle, 95C on load, tCTL measurement, which is shifted by 27C from Tj) Albeit, I use an air cooler (Noctua NH-14). To be mentioned that there are no throttling or stability issues.

Other Thoughts: - I am running this on an MSI X399 motherboard
- overall, happy. I have settled for the Corsair LPX memory.
- I will probably switch my Noctual for an AIO cooler once they come up with blocks that have better Threarripper coverage).

Intels 7980xe personal computer 18 core beast cpu:

2017 Intel’s Core i9 Extreme Edition CPU is an 18-core beast:

"
Last year at Computex, Intel unveiled its first 10-core consumer CPU, the company's move into the world of a "megatasking." It was a pricey chip, launching at around $1,700, but it satisfied users who needed to juggle several intensive tasks at once. Now, Intel is upping the ante with a new family of processors for enthusiasts, the Core X-series and it's anchored by the company's first 18-core CPU, the i9-7980XE.

Priced at $1,999, the 7980XE is clearly not a chip you'll see in an average desktop. Instead, it's more of a statement from Intel. It beats out AMD's 16-core Threadripper CPU, which was slated to be that company's most powerful consumer processor for 2017. And it gives Intel yet another way to satisfy the demands of power-hungry users who might want to do things like play games in 4K while broadcasting them in HD over Twitch. And, as if its massive core count wasn't enough, the i9-7980XE is also the first Intel consumer chip that packs in over a teraflop's worth of computing power."

The important factor here is that, even with all 18 cores loaded, the i9-7980XE will hit 3.4GHz, and at 16-core loads the 7980XE and 7960X can do 3.5/3.6GHz, respectively. That matches or exceeds the stock clockspeeds for AMD's Threadripper 1950X, which was almost certainly the point Intel wanted to make."

Regarding Amd.

"Overclocking Results

As expected the Threadripper CPUs were able to hit 4 GHz but unfortunately like Ryzen 7 weren’t able to go beyond that point. Extreme voltages might see you hit 4.1 - 4.2 GHz like what we’ve seen with some Ryzen CPUs but for 24/7 usage 4 GHz looks to be the limit."

Intel Quality Honest so much better products for all things then buggy hyped amd.

(Imagine doing fully honest compares Intel vs Amd with same amount of cores and same cpu clock speeds and same amount of threads and same amount of ram then Intel would crush Amd even More beyond understanding. Intel is handicapped in these compares none bias true workloads test and gaming tests listed and still beats all with Amd with a way of lot lesser cores and lesser threads so impressive Intel still crush all with Amd and their newest Amd ryzens.)

Amazingly Well done Intel !!!

But here comes the exception to that rule:

Get Amds best vs Intels best and the facts results period is following (we are not talking about prices here). Intel crush all with buggy cheap Amd so many 1000 times over:

In the end it comes down to the best Intel vs best AMd Intel crush AMd and all with AMd many times over:
"Titan X650 - Quad CPUs Intel Xeon E7-4800 / E7-8800 V4 Series HPC Super Workstation up to 96 cores med 192 threads .........." That has 60 MB i cache minne!!!!!
And its core 96 is double with Intels hyper thred tec so 192 cores with 192 threads with 2048 GB in RAM it would crush AMDS buggy thr 1950x 1000 times over and crush all with amd and gives much better multi core benchmarks etc then all with AMD, period.
Even Intel 7900x cheaper and way better crush amd thr 1950x overall and  I7 7700k crush amd 1950x in gaming aswell and is way cheaper.

On budget I would recommend Intels 200 dollar cheaper better processor for gaming as menationed in article the test valied from 2017 in march is absolute valied today.
Be blessed.

So if Intel has hyper tec on type all intels computers, it's sick 22 cores will be double 44 cores and 96 cores will be doubled 192 cores etc.

"The most significant difference with the Core i7 compared to its predecessor is that Intel has reintroduced a technology called hyperthreading. 2 mars 2017:

"The difference between an AMD processor and a similarly priced Intel Core i3 or i5 can be as high as 30 or 40 frames per second if you have a very high-end graphics card."

Seriously an Intel I3 gives 30 to 40 frames better per second in games in the same price range then Amd. Intel leads huge. However we founded out that Intels Cpus beats amd and some of Intels cpus is even 200 usd dollars cheaper then amd and some is almost 750 usd dollars cheaper and still beats Amds best in gaming of the newest thred ryzen 1950x read above in articles in this Blogg post.

2 mars 2017:

"But here’s the catch — AMD chips aren’t as quick as Intel’s, and that can drag high-end gaming down. Intel’s i5 and i7 CPUs can take significantly better advantage of a high-end graphics card if you’re working with a bigger budget. The difference between an AMD processor and a similarly priced Intel Core i3 or i5 can be as high as 30 or 40 frames per second if you have a very high-end graphics card.

AMD’s Ryzen processors soften that blow somewhat, according to our tests, but the Intel Core i7-7700K still outperforms the Ryzen 7 1800X even when paired with the same exact graphics cards. We saw a net loss of about 10 FPS when running Civilization VI‘s internal benchmark on the Ryzen 7 1800X, compared to the i7-7700K. The gap narrowed when running a more graphically-demanding game like For Honor, with the Ryzen CPU providing an average of 109 FPS, while the Intel i7 averaged 110 FPS.
Overall, Intel is still the better choice, but if you’re eyeing a Ryzen CPU for a gaming rig, it’s not going to slow you down as much as some of AMD’s lower-spec offerings might."

Amd ryzen was beaten by a 5 year old intel I5 :

"Why this matters: AMD’s claims that it had elevated Ryzen’s instructions per clock more than 50 percent over the previous generation didn’t match up with its, well, surprising lack of performance when tested in real-world gaming. And when Ryzen was beaten by a 5-year-old (overclocked) processor?! Wow. But it’s true that Ryzen is a brand-new architecture, in a PC market dominated by Intel, and that developers are still catching up. Let’s just hope that AMD and developers can patch up Ryzen’s performance to a level users had hoped for.
AMD Ryzen 7 1700 vs. a 5-year-old gaming PC, or why you should never preorder (http://www.pcworld.com/article/3176100/computers/amd-ryzen-7-1700-vs-a-5-year-old-gaming-pc-or-why-you-should-never-preorder.html).

No Bios updates will ever fix AMDs ryzen, the problem is that AMD is buggy cheap stuff with 0 quality and AMd is also a company that lies and hype up their products in faked dishonest compares and compare vs intel not letting intel run the Intel cpus in maximum quad core memory.
Soon Amd will most likely be sued for their lies against Intel.

This certainly matters in CPU intensive tasks I did same on test my Intel I7 took out one memory and tried to run starcraft 2 it took like 2 minute to start the game that usually take 10 seconds with all memory modules in, so AMD cheated big time it certainly matters big time.

AMD also hyped up and lied up false benchmarks in some of their articles. True benchmarks above in link.
Amd must develop quality products that not overheats that uses less energy and that has long lifespan that is better at gaming until that day come they always will fall short vs Intel.
Amd takes on too much first of all they are a very small company compared to intel and amd takes on way too much trying to be the best in cpus and amd also tries to be best in graphics cards..
Smarter would be if Amd focusated more on one thing and not tryied tobe best in all things… Thats also one of the reasons Amd loses.
Amd also must learn to be honest and truthful and not hype their buggy products up so much.
While Intel focus most on beeing the best on Intels cpus witch they are by far and most likely forever will be.
Intel do not need to hype it up they let their products speak the truth by the truthful honest compares shown by the professionals in articles etc.
Intel is quality cost more but overall is so much better in all things.

Intel is a huge company with unlimited resources its very unlikely that AMD ever can beat Intel in all things they offer:

Now about the true facts about Intel 7900x:

Intel 7900x cost only 9855 kr https://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=4361829 and Amd tr 1950x 10 490 kr cost https://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=4421996 Amd tr 1950 x cost more and is not as strong as the much better value Intel 7900x as an overall cpu:

(
Say this only once here most softwares and games today uses only strong fast singel core speed or strong fast quad core speed there is really very little need for strong cpu multicores as buggy hyped Amd is pushing on today, as Amd knows they cannot compete vs Intel were the true power lies for todays software and applications and games and that is strong fast cpu singel core and strong fast cpu quad core aswell superstrong and fast multitasking
aswell as lowest heat in cpus and aswell as lowest electricity cpu consumption etc.

"Intel 7900x wins and is way stronger and faster quad core and way stronger and faster singel core better even for gaming aswell and better as desktop computer and uses 22 percent less energy and is cheaper compared to Amd tr 1950x"

The facts time to kill the heat problem myths:

PEACE"

Intel is not in a panic mode, Intel do not fear Amd as Amd is trashy low quality and cheap buggy overheating junk especially of today,  however Amd is very afraid of Intel:

Amd is afraid:

Intel Quality Honest so much better products for all things then buggy hyped amd.

2017 Intel already out muscle Amd today and in past forever and ever period in all things around 1000 times over read more below:

Honestly speaking we think its impossible to beat Intel in all they offering and have so low cpu Intel temperatures and so little electricity consumption as Intel have on their cpus and still have so sick huge powerful performance on fast powerful quad cpu core speeds aswell as fast singel cpu core powerful speed performance as Intel has.

Do not think any company in the world can beat Intel they are too good all around they make their products of such huge quality etc and speed best cpus all around is Intel.
Recommended is Intel 7900x for all around cpu and only for gaming is recommended Intel 7700k, both is very cheap and is cheaper then Amds buggy hyped counter parts and way much better then all with amd and amd newest ryzens as been shown here at this Blogg post read on above and below etc and read again and read again if you been asleep etc and wake up to the truth :

By the way when compare think its more honest to compare amd cpus vs Intel cpus that has same core amount and threads amount aswell as same cpu clock speeds, can be tricky but still.

Fair test is to compare Intel vs Amd that has same cpu clock speeds and same amount of cores and same amout of threads and same amount of ram etc.

I liked AMD in past they were more honest a couple of years ago then I liked AMD better then now cos now they do anything to hype it up to win on lies and hype vs Intel that is far more honest and have quality products.

Amd is good as long as you do not compare those with honest quality Intel as Intel is in a different price range for a reason, do not mean that what's always more expensive is better, but in Intels case it is so. Intels processors cpu it's overall extremely much better then all with Amd in all around performance etc. However in many cases Intels cpus and Intels motherboards is actually cheaper then Amds counterparts and way much better performance overall etc you can read about this on our Blogg page etc.

Amd has no facts or proof for their false lying claims:
Buggy cheaped lying cheaters AMD also spread lies and gossips claiming Intel copied them thats a big lie, as AMD always sucked compared to Intel with honest quality honest products.

Intels cpus are totally diffrent designed then buggy cheap Amds cpus that also has a really bad economy compared to Intel so they blame lie hype things up in order to survive on lies and faked scammy compares when disabling Intels Cpus in max performance by disabeling Intels memories, read above in article about this...

In reality its the opposite its Amd who copied Intels CPU structures in part witch is illegal as Intel have their products copyrighted or patented.

Regarding Amd it is the contrary what people think ... Intel is the honest hard working company that really is on the side of customers who do not sell out their customers' privacy, etc.
Intel is God's choice of company they are not completely perfect but significantly better than buggy scammy hyped lying Amd every day of the week 24/7 all days in every year around period!
We'll see how the report I'm going to make with Intel goes, it's not even sure Amd will be going well or good in the future. In Best case Intel will win in suing Amd and Amd will pay for their many crimes of lying claims hyped Amd buggy products and all other evil dishonest work of Amd towards honest quality Intel company etc.
False benchmark tests made by Amd by crippling Intel under 2017 more about this above on this Blogg page and not run Intel on their full quad memory and false slander against Intel AMD has done and still do.

AMd has accused Intel of stolen their CPu design structure which is a total of BS, lie and hype the truth is on the other hand that Amd stole or tried  in part steal probably Intel's CPU design and by doing so violated Intel's Patent, Amd in that sence if they done so they have broken the patent laws.

There is a huge difference between how Intel's Cpus and AMDS cpus work. AMD relies more or solely on CPU clock speed while Intel has always had a better way to get speed through cache memory and more more explained below about it, Intel also uses lesser electricity and have lesser cpu temperatures and is way better stronger faster in quad core speeds and way better stronger faster in singel core speeds etc. (Intel wants 0 things with buggy Amd cpus or anything with Amds buggy hyped scammy lying products in Intels honest quality true products as Amd always sucked compared to honest quality Intel etc):

In general AMD is hotter gets warmer then Intel.

Andre Lubke, works at The Netherlands
I agree with the answer of KC McLaughlin .
See below a gaming test of an AMD 5 GHz CPU vs an Intel 4 GHz CPU:
The Intel processor is clearly faster than the AMD.
In most tests I know Intel processors score better than AMD processors with higher clock speeds. On top of that: The Intel processors don’t get as hot as the AMD’s and the Intel’s also use less energy.
Conclusion:
Clock speed alone isn’t everything."
Garry Taylor, Partner (2000-present)
It’s probably because Intel have chosen not to, I’m sure they could if they wanted to, Intel probably has the best processor fabrication ability in the world.
Intel has chosen to get speed another way though, through different design, rather than clock speed alone.
Clock speed is only partly related to overall processor speed, you have to remember that on each tick of the clock, different processors do different things, and Intel seems to have found more efficient ways to do things than AMD has at the moment.
There are also factors like cache memory, it’s not just the amount, but how fast it is too, and how quickly the cache can be filled with data from main memory.
You can sort of consider the clock speed of a processor to be like the RPM of an engine, it’s only one factor in how fast a car can go. There is number of cylinders, engine size, gearbox efficiency, turbo or super charger, the weight of the car, is the car all wheel drive or just rear wheel drive? All that stuff can add up to a car being faster or slower than another.”
Why is AMD able to reach 5GHz on stock CPU and Intel not?

Important article also:
https://www.howtogeek.com/177790/why-you-cant-use-cpu-clock-speed-to-compare-computer-performance/

Little bit older info but still applies today and forever aslong as this Earth with human computer tec exist and progress etc:

"
This seems simple on its face. The more clock cycles a CPU can perform, the more things it can get done, right? Well, yes and no.

On the one hand, clock speeds are useful when comparing similar CPUs in the same family. For example, let’s say you’re comparing two Intel Haswell Core i5 CPUs, which only differ in their clock rate. One runs at 3.4 GHz, and one runs at 2.6 GHz. In this case, the 3.4 GHz processor will perform 30% faster when they’re both running at their top speed. This is true because the processors are otherwise the same. But you can’t compare the Haswell Core i5’s CPU clock rate against another type of CPU, such as an AMD CPU, ARM CPU, or even an older Intel CPU.

This may not seem obvious at first, but it’s actually for a very simple reason. Modern CPUs are becoming much more efficient. That is, they can get more work done per clock cycle. For example, Intel released Pentium 4 chips clocked at 3.6 GHz in 2006. It’s now the end of 2013 and the latest, fastest Intel Haswell Core i7 CPUs are clocked at 3.9 GHz from the factory. Does that mean CPU performance has only improved a tiny bit in seven years? Not at all!

Instead, the Core i7 CPU can simply do much more during each clock cycle. It’s important to look not just at clock cycles but at the amount of work a CPU can do per clock cycle. All other things being equal, fewer clock cycles with more work are better than more clock cycles with less — fewer clock cycles means the CPU requires less power and produces less heat.

In addition, modern processors also have other improvements that allow them to perform faster. This includes additional CPU cores and larger amounts of CPU cache memory that the CPU can work with.

AMD Ryzen 7 1700 vs. a 5-year-old gaming PC, or why you should never preorder (http://www.pcworld.com/article/3176100/computers/amd-ryzen-7-1700-vs-a-5-year-old-gaming-pc-or-why-you-should-never-preorder.html
).
The truth again valied test none bias valied test forever until Amd develops something better them bugg amd ryzens if that ever happends...:
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X still behind Intel, but it’s great for the price: (https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2017/03/amd-ryzen-review/2/#h2)
And:
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X still behind Intel, but it’s great for the price (https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2017/03/amd-ryzen-review/)
And:
Gaming performance of Ryzen 7 vs. Core i7 with GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

Intel I5, 5 year old crushed beaten Amds newest Ryzens much better and cheaper then Amds Ryzens:

"Heh the cheapest ryzen 1700 cpu($329) is still only on par with an older 3rd gen i5 3570k for gaming and not much better than the $55 g4560. That $179 i5 4670k will smoke it with a mild oc and against a kaby lake k chip using heavily oc memory it won't even be a contest." Said by Horribad at tanks.

Watch on Youtube:

"Ryzen 7 is an overpriced garbage. The performance in gaming is bad, it bottlenecks a high end gpu (gtx 1080) comparing to an i7 7700k. It is already outdated for high end gpus. In the future any new gpu will be  bottlenecked. And for video editing, you have much better results by using an Nvidia gpu and Cuda cores than any cpu in the world..I am so disappointed by amd, such a long wait for nothing. Ryzen 5 might worth a shoot."

"Current games cant be optimized for ryzen. they'd have to completely recompile the game engine. Ryzen sucks for games that's a fact, its amazing for video rendering or heavily threads application but for games its overpriced shit. and yes X99 is trash its for those who want to brag about how amazing their pc's are. real gamers have normal processors like 6700k or 4790k. I personally have a 3570K at 5GHz and it blows away ryzen in 90% of games. I did want the 1600x but if its as slow as the r7 then ill get a 7700k."

However, motherboards for Intel cpuer today are cheaper and better than just new ones for ryzen more about it above etc:

Intel is forever and ever the safest and best choice to choose in all tasks overall it is an period fact.

Why do we need a-high end PC-with-GTX-1080 and i7-7700k apart from gaming :

"Mark Safronov, I play and research games for more than 20 years already.
Answered Aug 5
Note for future reference: Intel i7–7700k and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti are considered the most performant combination of CPU and GPU, respectively, for first half of the year 2017.

Powerful CPU have the following advantages:

No need to change it next ~5 years and more. I personally have bought my i7–3770k back in 2011 and I upgraded (to i7-7700k) only in 2017 because motherboard died and I wanted DDR4 RAM. CPU is probably the most reliable part of your build right after the case.
Faster file compression.
Faster rendering of streaming and downloaded UHD/4k video. You actually can have such a slow CPU to be unable to watch, say, 4k videos in the Web.
Faster Javascript on Web pages. What, you thought it’s GPU-assisted or everyone writes highly optimized code?
Faster rendering in CAD software like 3D Max or such.
Faster compiling, though this normally uses everything in your build.
In general, anything which is not GPU-assisted (“hardware acceleration” or such) is faster. Image filters in graphic programs, checking integrity of downloaded torrents, conversion between file and/or media types, data processing in office software, file system check, etc.
If you don’t bother with CPU being loaded 100% 24/7, you can run some distributed scientific software in background, essentially donating your spare resources to the science, and not even bother about it. Free volunteering.
Powerful GPU is a highly specialized highly parallel auxiliary calculating unit. It’s so useful to video games because it can efficiently calculate colors of each individual pixel on the screen, and do it fast. But you can do some pretty interesting things with it apart from that.

You can mine cryptocurrency like Bitcoin with it, generating money. You will need a highly energy efficient rig for that, though, and probably you will need to live in Russia for that, too. (They say, we have dirt cheap electricity here, but I am unsure. We always whine about how high its cost is).
You can use it for science, too, like CPU. I, for myself, know about SETI and tried protein foldind in the past.
You can dip into some pretty hardcore weak-AI programming, machine learning and/or big data mining. This requires high amounts of fast RAM as well, though.
Browsers use hardware acceleration from GPU to render Web pages. Check your settings. It really does have an impact.
Some media players started to use GPU rendering for video. This can help with insanely UHD and up movies, but again, in this case you can bottleneck yourself with HDD or low amount of RAM or even slow northern bridge bus on the motherboard.
Some CAD and professional graphics software uses both CPU and GPU for rendering. So you will benefit from both. Note that there exist GPU tailored specifically for this purpose. They trade rendering speed for the precision of the image. This is usually unnecessary for games.
Games are not some fantasy completely different kind of software. They are, technically, soft-realtime interactive virtual reality simulations with fullscreen 3D rendering. And sometimes they are networked. Any kind of software which exhibits the same qualities or needs will benefit from the gaming rig. Quora."  115 Upvotes.

These are facts true benchmarks none bias.

And its core 96 is double with Intels hyper thred tec so 192 cores with 192 threads with 2048 GB in RAM it would crush AMDS buggy thr 1950x 1000 times over and crush all with amd and gives much better multi core benchmarks etc then all with AMD.Even Intel 7900x cheaper and way better crush amd thr 1950x overall and  I7 7700k crush amd 1950x in gaming aswell and is way cheaper.

For us, it's a matter of priorities. "

Intel is forever and ever the safest and best choice to choose in all tasks overall it is an period fact.

According to my own test AMd is atually trash compared to Intel.
But in other hand if you not compare AMd with Intel but only wnat a cheap computer rig that you can use for easier tasks well its ok for that.
Amd gets hotter then Intel proven fact and AMd uses more energy proven fact.
Intel better in gaming proven fact by the articles provided done by the professionals and not by some youtubbers with bias towards AMD.
In past I loved AMD they then had more honesty and not so much hype.
AMd suck on multitask I know tested my AMd desktop vs my Intel laptop from same year almost differ a few months between them . (But just by the fact my AMD is a desktop computer alone it should beat my Intel laptop but it doesent thats sick impressive done by Intel, as usually desktop computers is overall better then laptops etc. A good desktop computer usually beats laptops 2 years newer or more.
I had on my intel laptop at the same time 5 diffrent browser with 50 tabs opend in each browser thats 200 windows most flash movies on movie sites and html5 on youtube.
And played Starcraft 2 with 8 players on Battlenet no lag or hack my I7 laptop is not even effected. Starcraft 2 is old game I know but with many players on battlenet it even laggs even on the newest most powerful computers if you have limit of 200 units and if you try to play 12 players.
My Amd desktop can play just the game starcraft 2 with some players alone and then it lags and nothing no programs running in background. My Intel I7 also uses like 0 electricity, very little. My Amd desktop computer uses alot of power electricity even with flat screen did some testing of that a while ago.
Intel beats my AMD so many times over so its sick. One of my friends were a bit sceptical until he saw how my Intel beaten my AMD in everything in every test one can think of.
Plus my AMD uses more electricity and gets hotter then my Intel.
So in my eyes and many that have the facts straight AMd do suck compared to Intel. But if go on only price AMD in some cases make sence.
The reason I bought my AMD were because of cheap price.
But the compnents in AMD is not quality I had to replace my AMD cpu because of heat damage as my CPU cooler did not cool it enough that my AMd computer were pree installed with. I bought a new AMD cpu because of it. I also had to buy a new CPU cooler to my amd processor as it gets so hot warm...

Heard many people talking trash about Intel wake up in business things go pretty hard but Intel has not done anything as evil illegal and false accusations and hyped products lies as Amd done, not even close.

Intel is overall the more honest company with quality products that also does not by intent sell out peoples privacy to the spying govermeents or people that spy on the public and such that need super computers as AMD does, according to the rumor but much actually speaks for it to be true, as AMD does everything to earn a buck as their economy suck compared to Intel.

Amd is extemely small company compared to Intel that is around now more then 10 times bigger.

Intel does not see buggy hyped scammy Amd as any real dangerous competitor. Intel have played with scammy hypped buggy none quality Amd the whole time even intels old I5s crush Amds new Ryzens in games etc...

Intel have the whole market in world in gaming in desktop computers and in servers and in work stations as Intel gives better computers always and nowdays even cheaper then Amd and with better quality and better performence and power etc.

Intel is way more honest and good for us customers around the world etc.

Intel will always beat AMD most likely as they have the better economy to do so and best quality products and let their honest products speak for itself .

Amd lies and hype things up and think that will gain customers but in the end it will backfire big time.

A rumor also says that AMD is the ones that sells out peoples privacy as AMD sells their buggy computers to spy on the public.

This is not a proven fact but much speaks for it beeing true that AMD sells their computers to places were its used to spy on peoples private lives AMD does this in highest exttent as they do anything to earn money as AMd has bad economy compared to Intel.

So if you wanna destroy peoples privacy buy buggy scammy overheating no quality cheap Amd products that uses way more power on electricity bill then Intel. (Exceptions when some of Intels processors of the newest worst kinds like 18 core Intel 7980XE etc is over clocked then it draws more electricity but also gives way better performence then AMD overclocked etc but not talking about extreme overclocking here, but in 99,9 percent of the cases Intel always uses way less electricity then Amd cpus and performs ways better overall etc...)
Also Amds newest Ryzens is not cheaper then Intel counter parts that is way better etc.

If you want quality that run smooth lower using of electricity lower cpu heat and better quality that holds two life times that also beats amd in all things buy Intel best choices always period.
Intel has so much more honesty and integrity and care for peoples private lives then buggy scammy junkie Amd, so they, Intel, do not sell their computers to those who spy on the public, peoples private lives etc (at least not by intent do Intel that as Amd seamingly do as Amd do anything to lie, cheat, hype things up and sell earn money as Amd has worthless economy compared to Intel that is 10 times bigger company, Amd is very small compared to Intel more about that above in the Blogg article etc.)

Intel also has no need for it as Intel has extremely good economy thanks to their good honest quality Intel products they developed over the many years and sold to the customers and companies around the World etc. Intel is honest way more then scammy trashy Amd buggy Amd want quality honest good extremely better overall products go for Intel, the choice is easy. And you can get better and even cheaper Intel products then Amd as explained above in article etc. However if you want the absolute best it will cost more but in the end its way worth it go for Intel a extremely good choice is the Intel:

"Conclusion
There’s really two ways to look at Core i9. The first is from a performance perspective, where there’s no question that Intel is in charge. You’d have to look very hard and very far to find any multi-threaded benchmarks where the 16-core and 18-core Core i9 lose to AMD’s Threadripper. Once you move to lighter loads that favor Intel’s higher clock speeds and better IPC efficiency, it only gets worse.

So, for performance freaks who absolutely, positively, must have the fastest CPUs for both light duty and heavy duty, the Core i9-7960X and Core i9-7980X are the new speed demons (bad word they use but very fast they mean).

The problem, of course, is the cost differential. That last chart above should give you an idea of the value AMD is offering. Yes, Core i9 may officially be faster in every way you can measure, but it can’t outrun its own price.

Maybe it depends on who’s paying. If, for example, your boss asks you to spec out a new build for your video editing workstation, you’ll say Intel. But if you’re building on your own dime and trying to make the dollars stretch? The natural answer is AMD.

But make no mistake, Core i9 is clearly the performance leader today."

Its not true that Intel always cost more read more info about that above on this Blogg page.

Intel is quality and better and faster in all things With Intels 18 core and Intels Titan computers worst kinds of 192 cores and 192 threads with like 2045 gb in ram exist also other Intels that beat all with amd and their newest ryzens and amd thr 1950 x etc, but if you want to go for cheaper but still much better in gaming then all with amd go for Intel 7700K and for desktop use and gaming and other stuff better overall cpu then all with amd but cheaper then AMD is Intel 7900x.
Only if you want the absolute extremes then go for Intel 7980xe.

Intel is on 1 spot of 980 in speed rank compared to amd that is far behind Intel is over 50 percent faster and better even before overclock. Intel is faster in all things. See lower down in Link Intel is faster in all things way over lying 10 percent some lying amd fanboys claims.
And when Intel is overclocked it beats all with amd over several hundred percent considering that Intels processors today is at best overclocked to 7,3 ghz on all cores and amd is only stable on around 4,1 ghz or 4,2 ghz or around 4 ghz on all cores etc...
In order to see 16 core and Intels 7900x etc you need to change that in link when compare.
Intels 16 core is on like 4 rank in speed rank of 980 amd is far behind. Intel is faster in like all things even here.
See lower down in Link Intel is faster in all things way over lying 10 percent some lying amd fanboys claims, its more like over at best around or over 30 percent in some fields etc.

August 7 2017:

"For example, the 10-core i9-7900X hits 4.0GHz on all cores, while the i9-7980XE and i9-7960X both hit 3.9GHz on up to 12-core workloads. Moving beyond that, there's a drop of several hundred MHz at 13-16 core loads, and then the i9-7980XE drops a final 100MHz for 17-18 core loads.

Source PC gamer.

Or what the honest fair true people of today regarding this recommends:

What true honest people in this are saying after seeing the gaming true none bias benchmark tests Intel vs Amd from 10 August 2017 above:

Important to adress both Intel and AMD has gone way to extreme there is no use for more cpu cores then max 10 cpu cores for ordinary private persons, as almost no software or programs or computer games today or in near future uses close to 10 cpu cores or more then 10 cpu cores...

Its an big downside creating cpus with more then 10 cores as there really are little to no use for it aswell as the beast cpues with more then 10 cpu cores uses more electricity aswell compared to the cpus with lesser cpu cores, also the heat usually is harder to controll and can go up with cpus that have too many or many more cpu cores, for example more then 10 cpu cores etc...

However if you still need high multicores the better cheaper overall much better cpu value is Intel 7900x but if you still need higher multicore then Intels 18 core cpu might be something for you or if you is extremely rich Intels Titan computer with huge 192 cores and huge 192 threads with huge 60 mb cache memory and huge 2048 GB ram more about this above) :

"Intel 7900x wins and is way stronger and faster quad core and way stronger and faster singel core better even for gaming aswell and better as desktop computer and uses 22 percent less energy and is cheaper compared to Amd tr 1950x"

Above the truth about Amd thr 1950x cost more and have higher heat then Intel and is not as strong as overall cpu that is cheaper and overall way much better Intel 7900x and Amds newest ryzens have many buggs and is worthless in gaming compared to Intel and is more expensive both Amds mothersboards and newest Amd ryzens then Intels counter parts etc:

PEACE"
